Chris Creevy, MBE

3 August 2012

Chris Creevy, MBE

Chris was awarded the MBE in March 2011 for “services to the community of London” after being nominated by the service users at BAS. Prior to his time at BAS, Chris worked as a youth worker and also a manager of a children’s home.  It is with admiration that we say that he spent most of his life in the service of other people
One colleague described Chris as “a phenomenon in technicolour, his commitment, energy and passion would be remarkable in a 20 year old”
In typical fashion, Chris worked tirelessly for Battersea Alcohol Service until just five weeks ago, sharing his characteristic passion and enthusiasm with service users and staff and driving new initiatives for service users forward. He was a tremendous asset to the service and his humour, warmth, dedication and love  will be sorely missed by service users and staff alike.

If your life has been touched by Chris Creevy and you would like to share a memory,          or anything else about him, you can do so through our email: bas@foundation66.org.uk.
