CAFADS
CAFADS offers a service to children, adults and families experiencing issues involving substance misuse. We can work with as few or as many family members that are able to attend although sessions may involve individual, couples and family work as appropriate.
What we do
Cafad works with families in the London Borough of Enfield. Amongst the services we provide are:
- E-CAF assessments for clients
- One-to-one sessions and telephone support
- Satellite bases in Children and Family centres
- Workshops on alcohol and drug awareness
- Strengthening families and communities programme
- Absent fathers groups and family conference groups
- Ex-offenders groups for men and women
Who we help
CAFADS aims to help families with younger children aged between 0-5 years. The service is for families based in the London Borough of Enfield who are affected by problematic use of alcohol or other drugs
How we work
CAFADS will be providing a unique service with the aim of engaging not only with parents about the problems and difficulties they have encountered due to alcohol and drug use, but also with their children who are also affected by their use.
Referral
We accept self-referrals, as well as referrals from
- CSPIN/panel
- Family and children centres
- Ante-natal clinics
- Other Foundation 66 services
- CNWL
- Other professionals whose clients are registered at family centres.
