Choices Community Alcohol Service
Choices is a community alcohol service for residents of Lambeth and Southwark. We offer services to adult residents of these boroughs who need support in dealing with their problem drinking.
What we do
We offer individual and group support alongside Advice & information, assessment, care planning, key working and action planning.
Group work sessions are also available addressing issues such as -
- Alcohol education
- Relapse prevention
- Creative expression
- Motivational support
- Complementary therapies.
Who we help
Our services are available to those with alcohol-related problems living in Lambeth & Southwark.
How we work
We are a culturally competent service providing a creative and proactive approach to the treatment of alcohol problems. We take into account the difficulties and barriers some communities face when asking for help. We combine practical alcohol education and health information with an understanding of alcohol dependency from varying cultural perspectives and work alongside our service users to find solutions. We can also refer to detox and other support services.
