Foulden Road
Foulden Road Third Stage Residential Home offers post-treatment low level residential support people who do not have appropriate housing.
What we do
We offer support to those who have completed residential rehabilitation. This support includes one to one keyworking, advice and guidance about nutrition and further relevant support such as access to Education, Training and Employment and housing options. We also support residents to engage in voluntary work that matches their personal interests, frequently leading to employment opportunities.
Who we help
Men and Women between the ages of 18 and 65 who have successfully completed residential rehabilitation for substance misuse and who remain abstinent. We are based in Hackney, but take referrals from all London Boroughs.
How we work
We work within a model that integrates a client-led approach with social learning and solution focused interventions. This essentially means that we work practically and emotionally to assist residents to address the challenges that face them in their recovery, as they become increasingly independent.
Referral to Foulden Road
We accept referrals via telephone, fax or letter. We require prospective residents to be abstinent from drink and drugs for three months prior to admission. Referrals are accepted from various sources, including local authorities, other substance misuse agencies and self referral.
Where we are
Our home is in a quiet residential road in Hackney, a short walk from Rectory Road overground station. It is also served by several buses
