Foundation66 Focus Groups
What are Focus Groups?
A Focus group is made up of Service Users who discuss issues and ideas relating to a specific topic. You don’t have to be a Service User Rep or a Service User Council member to get involved in a Focus group; just be willing to attend the Focus group sessions and an interest in the topic.
What Focus Groups can I get involved in?
We have various groups running at different times depending on recent feedback and Service User needs. For example, we currently have a Focus group for ‘Service User Involvement fundraising’ including planning and organising our participation in this years ASICS British 10k run (see Foundation66 news for more details about last year’s run), and a Service User Website Focus group.
We also have Foundation66 groups such as ‘Health & Safety’ and ‘Equality and Diversity’ that you can participate in.
How can I get involved in a Focus Group?
If you would like to participate in a Focus Group please talk to the Service User Involvement coordinator, Claire Bishop, or ask your key-worker to refer you.
