New Cross Community Alcohol Service

New Cross Community Alcohol Service is a flexible service for adults who are seeking help with their alcohol use.  We are based in the London Borough of Lewisham.

What we do

Initially we carry out an assessment to identify the service user's needs and then produce a plan to meet that need. This may include:

  • Individual support
  • Group sessions
  • Structured Day Programme
  • Support, advice and information on related matters
  • Referral on to other sources of help

We also provide a GP referral service and work alongside homelessness services.

Who we help

The service is aimed at adults (18 years and older) living in the London Borough Of Lewisham, although we can offer some services to residents of other boroughs.

How we work

Our work is directed towards helping service users to explore the changes they wish to make in their use of alcohol (and other substances they may also use) and to help them to find ways of making those changes.
