North Lewisham Community Drug Service

North Lewisham Community Drug Service (NLCDS) is based in Deptford and provides a range of services for problem drug users.  

What we do

We provide advice and information around the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol, including:
  • Drop-in service
  • Individual support and harm reduction
  • Group work
  • GP Shared Care substitute prescribing service
  • Needle exchange
  • Complementary  therapies
  • Stimulant services
  • Primary Care Clinic
 

Who we help

We provide a service to all Lewisham residents who are problem drug users aged 18 and over. We also offer support advice and information to relatives, friends and with wider community.  

How we work

We provide the individual with an opportunity to address their drug problem, by empowering them to take control of their lives through professional support .

Referral to NLCDS

Our services can be accessed in a number of ways.

  • Individuals looking for support can refer themselves through our drop-in sessions
  • Health and Social Care professionals can fax or email completed referral forms (available on request)
  • We also accept referrals by phone on 0208 694 0342
  • Advice and information is provided on our outreach stall at Deptford Market.
