How we work at NWDAS
Our dedicated team includes doctors, nurses, substance misuse workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, mental health specialists, social workers, counsellors, family therapists and complementary health therapists as well as volunteers and peer advocates.
All interventions are evidence based. We support clients with achieving agreed treatment goals, working within the reality of the service user’s circumstances rather than imposing expectations on them. This means we work both with Harm reduction and detox/abstinence based approaches. We provide sessions in Harm Reduction strategies, Relapse Prevention and Aftercare support or prescribe.
