Ravensood Road is a registered care home providing a flexible residential programme for adults recovering from their use of alcohol or other drugs. Rated 3-Star (Excellent) by CQC, this modern, purpose-built scheme in the heart of Walthamstow, London is open to clients nationwide.
What we do
Ravenswood Road works effectively with adults affected by their use of alcohol or other drugs, including those who have misused prescription drugs. We offer an evidence-based residential programme run by a highly-qualified and supportive staff team. Our flexible 12-to-24 week programme includes:
- Weekly keyworking with qualified counsellors
- Individually-tailored care plans
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) treatment, embedded in eclectic approach
- 24-hour staffing
- Structured groupwork programme
- Aftercare service
- Access to education, training and employment opportunities
- Random testing
- Dramatherapy
Who we help
We offer support to adults over 18 years who want to recover from problem alcohol or drug use. Our service is open to residents from anywhere in the UK including those requiring disabled access. We also welcome individuals who have a dual diagnosis or other complex needs, including those within the criminal justice system.
We offer a residential treatment scheme for men and women between the ages of 18 and 65 with drug and or alcohol problems. Clients need to be abstinent 5 days prior to admission.

Living together, Ravenswood Road residents share the impact alcohol or drug use has had on their lives and how they are managing to change previously unhelpful behaviours. Residents are offered the opportunity to address underlying causes in a safe, supportive environment.

To access our service or to refer someone to us you can contact us by phone, fax, letter or e-mail. We aim to assess all potential residents within 48 hours. Please note that our residents must be fully detoxed prior to admission.
