Specialist Services
Our specialist services provide support to communities and groups affected by alcohol or drugs that may be underrepresented in mainstream services. These groups include, Women, Families, Children and Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) communities. They often need a different approach; one that involves effective partnership working, targeted research and the development of trust to enable engagement.
The Children and Families Alcohol and Drug Service (CAFADS)
CAFADS offers a service to families experiencing issues around substance misuse. CAFADS works with individuals couples and families in the London Borough of Enfield
Camden Young People's Alcohol Service
Camden Young People's Alcohol Service provides alcohol awareness sessions to all secondary schools and other education venues in Camden, plus alcohol awareness sessions and drama workshops at youth venues.
Choices Direct Access Service
Choices is an alcohol service for members of BME communities in the London Boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark who may find it difficult to engage with mainstream services.
Family Alcohol Service (FAS)
Family Alcohol Service works with families with children under 18 resident in Camden. The service works with any significant adult or family member, individually and/or together, to help them minimize the harm done to children by a drinking parent or carer.
New Roots
New Roots is an alcohol and drug community engagement and outreach service for members of the BME communities. New Roots serves the London boroughs of Camden, Kensington and Chelsea and The City of Westminster
Southwark Substance Misuse Service User Council
Foundation66 is commissioned by Southwark PCT to manage the co-ordination of Southwark's Substance Misuse User council.
