Susie Yapp
After graduating in Biochemistry from Salford University in 1983, Susie Yapp trained as a Registered General Nurse. Qualifying in 1986, she worked in the NHS for a couple of years before moving into substance misuse.
She worked at City Roads over a 9 year period in a variety of roles before moving to Lewisham Social Services to manage community care placements for substance misusers. Her involvement with commissioning began in 1997 and she has held a number of commissioning posts in health and local authorities.
Susie is currently the Manager of Buckinghamshire Drug and Alcohol Action Team.
